Prodigals are coming home. I believe we are entering into a season where sons and daughters who were lost would once again return. It is time to prepare rooms and stand on porches in anticipation of seeing that which was lost being reclaimed.
 
God had a plan from before the foundations of the world to bring us back into a right-standing relationship with Him. What was freely offered to us as sinners, cost Jesus everything. He has made the first and only real progress necessary towards redemption. We have one thing left to do: surrender. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” What a beautiful exchange found in the loving arms of our Savior. He picks us up when we are too weak to stand, and in our frailty, He carries us back to the place of sweet encounter.
 
The lost all over the world are on their journey home, and it is a journey of reclamation.
